libcdio-cdda1 software package provides library to read and control digital audio CDs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-cdda1
libcdio-cdda1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-cdda1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-cdda1 *
You will get with libcdio-cdda1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
